The Gig:
Based in Invercargill, you’ll be part of our Design team, working across the full product development journey - from early ideas through to testing and refinement. On any given day, you’ll be:
· Developing concepts, specifications, CAD models, drawings and technical documentation from early design through to production
· Supporting project planning, prototyping, testing, validation, engineering changes and production handover
· Applying design for manufacture principles while supporting manufacturing, procurement, quality, reliability and continuous improvement
· Managing design data, documentation, version control, traceability, compliance and design risk
· Working with suppliers, technology partners and internal teams to solve issues, support decisions and contribute to innovation and R&D
· Keeping cost, value engineering, warranty support and health and safety front of mind in all design work

You will have:
· Experience in design, manufacturing, or engineering
· CAD proficiency, with sheet metal experience a bonus
· Strong organisation, communication and systems/technology skills
· The ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
